Amy Borgman, Ph.D., Licensed Psychologist, Certified Imago Therapist Dr. Amy Borgman has been working as a Psychologist with the West Michigan Community for over 14 years, with special interest in emotional/compulsive overeating, women's issues, couples’ work, and parent-child relationships. Amy holds a Doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Western Michigan University. She completed her year-long doctoral internship at The University of Michigan’s Counseling and Psychological Services where she received specialized training in Eating Disorders and affirmative counseling for the Lesbian, Gay and Bisexual community. She has additional post graduate training in eating disorders, and offers individual and group therapy that addresses emotional and compulsive overeating.
Amy enjoys an active life that includes ballroom dancing, racket sports, hiking, animal rescue, and further learning and research. She’s an avid fan of major league baseball and independent film festivals.
