Shores Counseling is a safe, confidential, personalized site for counseling and
therapy. The office is located in Norton Shores, an attractive area south of
Muskegon.

Owned and operated by women, we emphasize the importance of connection in the
client-therapist relationship. Our waiting room contains art work and
inspirational sayings provided by our clients for the benefit of others. Soft
relaxing music provides an atmosphere of reflection and calmness to enhance the
process of looking inward.
Our two female therapists are licensed and experienced in providing therapy
and counseling for a wide variety of psychological problems, such as
depression, anxiety, and relationship difficulties. We collaborate in our
work together to help clients become more capable of listening to, expressing
and satisfying internal cues and needs. Focusing on strengths and then
learning positive coping tools empower clients to enhance their self esteem,
improve personal relationships, and gain control over their lives.

In teamwork with a registered dietitian, we provide specialized expertise in
the areas of eating disorders (anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder),
overeating, bariatric surgery support, and development of a healthy lifestyle.
